How does it work?

       One of our sale coordinators will come to the property the Monday before the sale to organize the entire house, neatly displaying all of the items for sale. They will then photograph the items to sell, advertise on our website, Facebook, Craigslist, Instagram and any other venue fit for your unique items. We also have a growing mailing list of over 6,000 people that we reach out to each week! 

       Because a household often contains merchandise of every shape, size and type, the sale coordinator will then research your treasures and place realistic prices on the items. 

       The sale will normally run 1 to 2 days, on Friday and Saturday. During the sale, we cater to 300-600 customers, generate a written inventory of items sold that will yours to keep at the end of the sale. We are firm on our prices on the first day of the sale, the second day we will discount items 20% in the morning and 50% in the afternoon. 

What are the advantages of this type of sale?

       Results! Estate and Tag sales are a fantastic way to eliminate unwanted items from a property while generating fast and big profits for the seller. We can sell a house right down to the bare walls and generate a high volume of foot traffic through an unsold property. Our team coordinators see to every detail, from organizing to pricing to conducting the sale in calm and professional manner.

What if it doesn't sell?

       Donation is a great option, there are many charities that will pick up many remaining items from the home. If there are any items of value, we can recommend an auctioneer who will make arrangements with you to remove the items and sell at a local auction house. We can also recommend clean out companies to help you expedite the final stages of this process. At the end of the sale, we will provide you with a list containing all of the phone numbers for these individuals. 

How much does it cost?

       Sale by Holly works strictly on a commission basis, the basic fee is 40% of the total sale. This includes all advertising, signage and labor. There are no hidden fees.
